Drawing Process Project
My work often begins with clean outlines, focusing on the essential structure, form, and composition of the subject. When developed into finished black-and-white drawings, the pieces take on new depth and intensity. By layering black fine liner pens, I create contrast, texture, and atmosphere. The transition from a simple outline to a fully rendered artwork highlights the importance of light, shadow, and stylistic mark-making in shaping mood and storytelling.
To share the process, I create time-lapse videos of my drawings. These videos show the transformation step-by-step—beginning with minimal outlines, then evolving through gradual layering, and finally reaching a striking, polished black-and-white finish. The time-lapse format reveals the rhythm of drawing, the decisions behind each mark, and the way details slowly build into the final piece.
